Expectations are something that can tell us where we are mentally. It's not just an illusion the fact that psychologists use card boards with weird images that apparently are nothing and then somehow after we tell them what we see they describe how we are feeling and what kind of thoughts we are having. Of course it's not the same for everyone, even thought two different people can expect the same thing doesn't exactly mean they are having the same thinking line, but something that was in their minds made them expect the same thing.

Goal: What I mean is if you're feeling like things are about to go wrong for you just give yourself a time alone to not think. And later rethink what you expected and realize just because you expect for something, doesn't mean it's going to happen. Either way you will get ok as long as you get to treat yourself the right way
