Sometimes just get yourself a time off, get off of any situation. When you feel like you can't deliver the best of you to the people around, you don't have to do it. So take some time off, remove yourself from social interaction and just rest your mind by doing something that will make stop thinking of things that give you anxiety.
Goal: Your upset, just say "I'm sorry I have to leave." and leave. Later explain it, but in that moment you need your space, your time, go get it. Watch, listen, do whatever it can drive you in and not think about anything else.
