"Pretty hurts, we shine the light on whatever's worst
Perfection is a disease of a nation, pretty hurts, pretty hurts
Pretty hurts, we shine the light on whatever's worst
We try to fix something but you can't fix what you can't see
It's the soul that needs the surgery"
"Pretty Hurts", by Beyoncé

Throughout the years the finger is being pointed to those who think that what you look is only what matters, but still remains the thought in those who try to hide. Television and magazines are some of  who show to the public how good is to be pretty and look good. And young children see it, believe it and follow them. I'm not saying that wanting to look pretty is something bad, I like to look good and look attractive to myself, but the definition planted on the children's mind is that you need to be good looking. We can clearly see many celebrities who don't have any talent, who didn't do nothing for the world to be proud, but because they have such a pretty face they are treated like "gods". What really matters is what you do, if you are happy, if you are willing to help others and how much you care about you, to say you love you, not just your looks but your soul too.
